Deze wijn heb ik gekregen bij het afscheid van mijn werk in Amsterdam. Een stevige wijn, vol, gul, iets scherp. Primair fruit bosbessen, iets hout. Zondoorstoofder dan Rhone syrah. Een lekker glas wijn, maar mist finesse. Misschien dat het iets te warm was.

Shiraz and grenache make perfect wine partners – blended together they each bring varietal qualities which create a deliciously enjoyable wine perfect for drinking as a young wine.
Grenache gives the rich, full bodied shiraz a delightful softness and elegance, producing a wine more medium bodied in style. In seeking to achieve the best balance of the full flavoured shiraz and the softness of the Grenache, we've decided on a final blend of 75% shiraz and 25% Grenache.
The vintage began early and produced a small, low yielding crop for the major red varieties. The wines are supple with good definition and early approachability.
